A breakthrough in rose hybridizing, the Drifts are compact groundcover roses.  Their versatile habits fits equally well into small home gardens, patio containers and hanging baskets as it does when they are planted en masse across large, open beds.  The Drifts have been tested extensively under very diverse climate conditions.  They are winter hardy in Zone 5 and could easily qualify as speading miniatures.  Drift show the same disease resistance as their larger, better known cousins, the Meidiland and Carefree shrub roses.  Likewise, the Drifts are equally well suited for large commercial plantings.
